Netscape 6 setup: Please upgrade to Netscape 7.1 and follow the instructions for it.

 

Netscape 7 / 7.1 Setup:

 

  1. Open Netscape and get to your e-mail box
  2. Click on <Edit> then <Mail and News Account Settings...>
  3. A screen will pop up. In the white box on the left hand side click <server settings>
  4. In the <Server Name> box type: mail.inland.net
  5. In the <User Name> box type: your username_inland_net (example: help_inland_net)
  6. check the check box for <Use secure connection (SSL)>
  7. In the white box on the left hand side click <Outgoing Server SMTP>
  8. For the <Server Name> box type: mail.inland.net
  9. Check the <Use Name and password> box. For the username put your username_inland_net just as before.
  10. Mark the dot for <use secure connection (SSL)> to: Always
  11. Click OK.
  12. DONE!!
