On October 15, 1998 Inland Internet, Inc. was acquired by Mediacom LLC.

On behalf of all the employees at Inland Internet we are proud to announce that we have become members of the Mediacom family. Inland Internet and our new parent company, Mediacom LLC, look forward to providing the customers in our community with access to the world through enhanced internet services.

Q: Will Inland Internet's Customer Service suffer as a result of this acquisition?

A: No! the original Inland Internet staff are still in place to answer all of your customer service needs -- in fact,  we are in the process of adding additional staff to cover our expanding coverage area!

Q: What are these enhanced internet services?

A: We plan to deliver high speed data over the rich bandwidth of Mediacom's cable network in and around the Sun City area, and expand our dial-up access throughout the Inland Empire.

Q: When will cable modem access be available?

A: We are projecting that we will be offering cable modem access in the Sun City area by mid April of 1999.

Q: How much will cable modem access cost?

A: At this time we do not have any official figures. At this time we estimate a standard cable modem account to be between $40-$45 per month.

Q: Is a cable modem really that much faster than a regular modem?

A: Yes! Cable modems are up to 50 times faster than traditional telephone modems!

Q: I don't live in the Mediacom cable service area, can I still get cable modem access?

A: No, we only have the ability to offer cable modem access in the Mediacom cable territory at this time. However, our 56k dial-up access will still be available throughout the Inland Empire.

Q: Are prices on your dial-up access going to go up?

A: No. Inland Internet remains dedicated to offering quality service at competitive prices and our current pricing structure is at or below the industry standard.

Q: Am I going to have to change any settings on my computer in order to access my account?

A: No.
