Setting up Mac OS8 for Inland Internet

Macintosh's OS v8 Internet Connection Assistant can be intimidating at first due to the large amount of information it asks for. Most of this information is NOT needed to connect, however, it is used to automatically configure many newer software programs for the internet. It is conceivable that in the near future, you will no longer have to set up each internet program seperately. Instead, they will all get their information from this one internet connection assistant.

To assist in the setup of your internet connection, we have included screen shots of all of the screens, as well as a description of what needs to be done. After the last one, it should work. If it doesn't, please give tech support a call.
