Windows XP Inland Internet
- Click on the
button.
- Right Click on the My Network Places
- Scroll down and left click on Properties
- Right Click on Inland connection icon.
- Scroll down and left click on Properties
- Click on the Networking
- Make sure TCP/IPIs highlighted and click the
button
- Make sure the box looks like the picture on the right.
- Obtain an IP address automatically
- Optain DNS server address automatically
Now click [ok] and [ok] again.
Connecting to Inland Internet
- Double Click on Inland Internet Connection
- Check to make sure your username is correct. (username_inland_net)
- Click the Dial button
Extras
- Call Waiting: If you have call-waiting you will want to disable it during your Inland Internet
connections. If you do not, then any incoming call will disconnect you from the Net unexpectedly.
To temporarily disable call-waiting during your connection, Click on the
button.
Now check "This location has call waiting" and choose option [*70]. Click [ok].
