Following the demise of ICON musical events continued to happen. Below is a list of the various musical projects different members of ICON did after the band broke-up.

AFTER ICON-Appearances and Projects
  • Harlequin- This was a project Jerry Harrison did. He sang on a number of tracks. A small number were produced on CD.

  • TOMCATS-Dan Wexler and Pat Dixon as well as David Michael-Philips (X-King Kobra) Put together this band. They played around LA and signed a developement deal with a major label in '91. They recorded ?15? tracks but the label decided to pass. From what I remember, I only saw them once, they sounded like a cross between The Cult and AC/DC.

  • Lydian-Tracy Wallach, Dan Wexler and Jerry Harrison played on this project that featured a female lead singer. They played on various tracks as guests. I've never heard it but I've been told the only thing good about it is the tracks in which Dan plays the solos.

    BEFORE ICON
  • THE SCHOOLBOYS- ICON started off in Phoenix Arizona as "The Schoolboys". The band at the time featured; David Michael-Philips on guitar, Dan Wexler on guitar, Tracy Wallach on bass, Stephen Clifford on vocals and John Covington on Drums. They built up quite a following and released an independent four song E.P. They also had songs featured on two different local radio station "Local Band" Albums.
